Activity Days

Public courses run on a selection of Saturdays and Sundays from March until the end of October.

Tank driving activity days last approximately 3.5hours, and are available mornings (9.00am to 12.30pm) or afternoons (1.00pm to 4.30pm). All our guests will receive full driving tuition in the reassuring company of our friendly and experienced instructors, some of whom served in the Falklands and Gulf Wars, and have some interesting stories to tell. Our ratio of guests to vehicles is set to keep all participants pleasantly busy throughout the session.

This course is suitable for the public ages 16 and upwards. No previous tank driving experience is required and nobody will be required to drive beyond their capabilities. To help us maintain our excellent safety record participants must exercise due care at all times and follow the instructions and advice of our instructors.

Pricing
The Tank Driving Experience: £250.00 per person (public only).

Instruction
All vehicles will have an experienced instructor to ensure you are safe at all times. The ratio of drivers to instructors will normally be 5:1.

Insurance

What do I wear?
All drivers should wear long trousers, long sleeved jumpers or coats and sturdy walking boots with ankle support. Please also bring waterproofs if you have them in wet conditions, a change of clothes and shoes would not go a miss for your home ward journey. The ground can become particularly muddy during inclement weather.

Can I Bring Spectators?
Spectators are welcome at a fee of £15.00 per person, over the age of 10 years. Children under 10 years are free. All fees payable on the day. The spectator fee includes a complimentary ride on or in a tank with a Teas or Coffee.
